2009 Fall Tractor Tour
Fall is the perfect time to slow down by taking a tractor ride and enjoying the beautiful countryside views that Owen and surrounding counties have to offer.
Come spend some time with other tractor enthusiasts at our annual Fall Tractor Tour. This year’s tour will travel through the hills of Northwestern Owen County.
Drivers will meet at 9:00am for signup at 9000 Beamer Station Rd, the Farm of Byron Stockwell. To get there take 46 West out of Spencer 9.1 miles from the Wal-Mart stoplight. Then, turn right on Whitehill Rd. going 1.5 miles to Beamer Station Rd on the left. Go 5/10 of a mile and 9000 is on the left side of the road.
The drivers meeting will start at 9:00am and the group will leave at 9:30am. They will be travel around 9 mph.
Lunch, prepared by Bob Johnson, will be provided about noon at the town park in Poland, Indiana.
The group will tour back to their starting part and arrive around 4pm.
Cost for the tour is $15 and includes lunch. Club membership required to participate. No Riders, No Towed Equipment, Tractors must have a slow moving vehicle sign. Drivers should bring a tow strap or chain.
